Paul Greenwood the head of the Elder Abuse Prosecution Unit for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office. He received his Law degree from the University of Leeds, qualified as a barrister through The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in London, and then as a solicitor through the Law Society of England and Wales.
He has spent the last 17 years handling crimes against the elderly - everything from financial fraud to murder. Under his leadership the San Diego District Attorney’s office is among only a handful of official elder abuse units in the country, and Greenwood has made it one of the most aggressive and respected foes of the crime. Paul travels the country educating law enforcement and prosecutors on how to protect and prosecute against Elder Abuse, one of the fastest growing crime segments in the U.S..
